Coffee and Conversation with Supervisor Dwyer, Tuesday October 13th at Roe Brothers, 65 Maple Avenue, Florida from 9-10 am. Stop by, enjoy a cup of coffee and have a chat with me and the department heads from the Town of Warwick.
Sanfordville PTA will hold a Touch-A-Truck event, Thursday October 8th at Sanfordville Elementary School from 5-7pm. Trucks from police, fire, DPW, EMS among others.
The Lions Clubs of Florida, Greenwood Lake and Warwick unite to present Mental Health & Well-Being Awareness in a presentation on Thursday, October 8th from 6-8pm at Florida Fire House, 19 S. Main Street, Florida. Please RSVP to: lionsclubuniteo@gmail.com. This collaboration will cover how to recognize signs of distress and present available resources and information on how to support a loved one. They will also talk about their collaborative projects that will be offered throughout the year.
Warwick Children’s Book Festival, Sunday, October 11th, Warwick Valley Middle School, 225 West St. in the gymnasium from 11am-4pm. This free event will have 80 prominent authors and illustrators of children’s books to meet with and talk to children and families. They also offer autographs and will have sales of their books. A children’s concert will be held at Noon. Also available during the festival: therapy dogs to listen to children read their new books aloud; food trucks, face painting and crafts. PumpkinFest, Monday, Oct. 12th at Pine Island Park, Kay Road/Cnty Rt. 1, Pine Island from 11am to 3pm. Bouncy house, Touch A Tractor, pumpkin painting, face painting, activities, games, food trucks, and more. $10 cash per participating child.
Oktoberfest in Pine Island, Sunday October 18th starting at 1pm, PLAV Pavilion, 16 Legion Rd., Pine Island. Tickets are available in advance for $20 or $25 at the door. There is a convenience fee that will be applied to this service and paid by the taxpayer to the payment processor. These fees are not included in the tax dollars paid to the collector.

Taxes unpaid after November 16th will be re-levied onto the 2027 Town & County Tax Roll with additional penalties.

The Town Board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 8th, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Warwick Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway. A workshop of the Town Board may occur up to 90 minutes before the scheduled regular meeting. For viewing options, the meeting will be streamed live on the Town of Warwick’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Optimum customers can watch live on Channel 21.
